Puure® 3.0 Kranfiltersystem

Used to disinfect water at treatment plants, chlorine is what gives tap water its chemical taste and smell. But the real concern is what it creates, trihalomethanes (THMs), byproducts linked to increased bladder cancer risk and reproductive complications with prolonged exposure. Puure reduces up to 98–99% of chlorine and its byproducts directly at the tap.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances don't break down, in nature or in your body. They accumulate over time and have been linked to thyroid disruption, immune system weakening, and increased cancer risk. Found in tap water across Europe and detected in the majority of tested water supplies. Puure reduces PFAS by up to 99%.

While small amounts occur naturally, excess fluoride in drinking water has been associated with dental fluorosis, thyroid dysfunction, and potential neurodevelopmental effects in children. Regulatory limits vary widely by country. On the Nano cartridge, the independent laboratory test (Measurlabs, ISO/IEC 17025) measured a fluoride reduction of 99.9%.

Found in both bottled and tap water. Particles under 20 microns can cross the intestinal barrier and enter the bloodstream, linked to inflammation, oxidative stress, and hormonal disruption. No regulatory limit currently exists.Puure’s six-barrier filtration reduces microplastics: 99.9% measured by an independent laboratory on the Nano cartridge.

Pesticide residues, some from products banned years ago, still persist in groundwater and surface water sources. Long-term exposure to compounds like chlorothalonil metabolites has been linked to kidney damage and carcinogenic effects. Puure's multi-barrier system targets these residues directly at the tap.

Lead from aging pipes affects cognitive development and kidney function. Mercury and cadmium accumulate in the body over time, impacting the nervous system and organs. Even at low concentrations, chronic exposure poses serious health risks. Puure reduces heavy metals by 95–99%.

Aging infrastructure means particles of rust, sand, and sediment can travel from treatment plants to your tap. These impurities affect water clarity, taste, and can carry other contaminants. Puure's mechanical pre-filtration captures 99% of sediments and rust particles.

Volatile organic compounds, including benzene, toluene, and industrial solvents, can enter water supplies through agricultural runoff, industrial discharge, or aging pipes. Long-term exposure is associated with liver and kidney damage. Puure reduces VOCs by 60–80%.

Trace amounts of antibiotics, hormones, and anti-inflammatory drugs have been detected in tap water across Europe. Wastewater treatment plants weren't designed to filter these compounds completely. Puure's activated carbon and multi-barrier system helps reduce pharmaceutical residues from your drinking water.
